Beautiful Botanical Styled Tipi Shoot
A rural Saw Mill location set amongst the lush green Derbyshire countryside, in a field lined with an abundance of tree’s and logs. Here lay the inspiration for this styled shoot. We wanted to go back to nature bringing the outdoors in, to compliment the natural, rustic elegance of the Tipis themselves. The look is clean and simplistic, but with natural rawness and texture.
We wanted to create a fresh and simple shoot, with greens, browns, and a soft metallic colour palette, incorporating rustic and earthy elements from the outdoor surroundings. A table scape abundant with lush green ferns, earthy, raw wood touches, simple single-stem florals in eclectic glass bottles, pine cones and crisp white linens gave a chic, botanical feel, but with a nod towards rustic, woodland accents too.
The Tipis were adorned with lashings of rustic rag bunting throughout, to give a raw edge and unique approach to the more traditional British, triangular flag bunting. A beautiful ‘feature’ wagon-wheel hung proud in one of the Tipi Peaks accented with lush floral, foliage and greenery.
To add a touch of elegance and depth, subtle hews of soft gold metallic were woven into the setting through elegant glassware, crockery and cutlery, miniature woodland animal favours, vessels for the luscious fern plants, super-cool table top light up letters, brass candlesticks and subtly featuring throughout the stationery collection.
The stationery was beautifully illustrated with green and gold watercolours to echo the woodland theme, whilst tapping into the simplicity of the key calligraphy trend.
Three stunning brides, each with their own different look, showcased three Bohemian inspired gowns, beautiful bouquets and gorgeous floral hair accessories. Flawless makeup and hair completed the three looks, with a view to represent a relaxed style with a slight nod towards Boho-chic.
Overall, we wanted to give inspiration to Brides and Grooms to be, as to how they can perfectly infuse their wedding day with natural elements and create a pretty, nature inspired atmosphere working with materials that are easy to find.
