Boho Beauty and Pallet Perfection

Boho Beauty and Pallet Perfection

When The Bangles sang that it was just another manic Monday and that they wished it was Sunday because that was their fun day, they had very clearly not experienced a Monday with wedding inspiration of this calibre appearing on their radar. Today, we've got an absolute beauty of a bridal blog post to show you.

We love love love LOVE the bohemian country vibes that Siân Chaplin Events has created in this sumptuous styled shoot. A dreamy outdoor setting, a gorgeous creamy colour scheme, and swoonworthy flower crowns all feature, not to mention some stunning dream catcher details and the out-of-this-world hair braiding going on! Not just a pretty face, this shoot nails the detail; perfecting the palette in more ways than one, not only are the colours superb but it's a perfect example for how to incorporate pallet furniture into a wedding to really bring it to life. Also cheeeeeeck out the floral fantasy that are the giant botanical LOVE letters - how incredible are they?  The shoot oozes effortless cool and free-spirited style without losing its warm and gorgeous soul, and we are thrilled to have it on the blog - we've no doubt it'll appear on your Pinterest a dozen times very soon!

"Outdoor, DIY and quirky weddings are my absolute favourite themes to be a part of. I just love how personal they are and in most cases the blank canvas that a couple have in order to create their dream wedding. I also adore the bohemian theme in every way, with beautiful floral crowns, dresses that look so effortless and a relaxed vibe. I just knew from the start that this vision would have to be the style I went for in my first inspiration shoot planned and styled completely by myself. As evident from my social media, I just love the blush pink, copper and grey colour palette; it is heavenly and massively on trend at the moment. I really hope it sticks around for as long as possible!

With the colour palette and theme sorted I set to work in pulling together inspiration on Pinterest; creating a board with my favourite images really helped me to capture the overall feel that I was looking for and get to work on sourcing the most amazing suppliers to bring it to life.

Lianne Gray is able to tell such beautiful stories with her photography, which is why I chose a bride and maid of honour for the shoot as opposed to a bride and groom. We wanted to do things slightly differently and really capture the friendship and love between a bride and her chief bridesmaid. Her editing style and the colours she manages to bring out in her work are to die for, too, giving everything a slightly ethereal, dream-like quality which I absolutely adore. The photos Lianne captures have an almost rose-tinted quality about them - but even better than that because what she captures is amazing in real life too.

Styling my first shoot was extremely exciting and such a fun experience. I really wanted to style it in a way so that a bride could really visualise it being at her wedding day - because when you're planning an outdoor wedding you really are open to so many options, and it would be a massive shame to not experiment and push the boundaries! I just loved creating the pallet table setting with the cosy bell tent as a backdrop; it was actually quite sad to tidy it all away!

I felt so grateful to have so many suppliers involved who went above and beyond to work with the theme and create something amazing. We had such a fabulous day, the sun shone (maybe a little too much!) and the photos are stunning.

I really hope this styled shoot has inspired all you boho brides out there! Don’t be afraid to do things slightly differently, you deserve to have the most amazing day; your wedding, your way!"
