Chris and Clare
Today's bride Clare was told she would never walk again or have children. She now has two beautiful children, has run three marathons and on 13th February 2016 she walked down the aisle to marry the love of her life.
Clare and Chris married in a beautifully unique and inspirational celebration. Here Clare shares her experience of their wedding day.
I met Chris through friends, we ended up spending a lot of time together and love grew. I liked the fact Chris was there for me through everything, he liked me for my strength and determination and that meant so much.
For our wedding day it was important to have a venue all on one level because of my disability. Southend Barns was therefore perfect and was so pretty it was the perfect place to say 'I do'. The staff were very helpful in all ways from the preparation to the actual wedding day, we couldn't have asked for more.
On the day I felt nervous, excited and a little overwhelmed, but the staff were amazing and me feel very at ease. It was wonderful having all our friends and family there to celebrate. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
For our styling we had a wildflower and hearts theme with a twist of glamour. We incorporated this by having loveheart favours, a wildflower table plan, a red and pink colour palette and candelabra centrepieces.
A truly magical day. Read more about Clare's story here.
