4 ways to do contemporary chic
1. Start with your stationary
Your Save the Date and Wedding Invites are the first indication to your guests of the style and feel of your wedding. You can reflect elements of your wedding styling in you wedding stationary, perhaps you are having a geometric theme or there are metallic elements to your big day. We love these fab examples from Swoon At The Moon, Gemma Milly Illustration and The Little Posy Print Co.
2. The venue
When considering your venue it's easy to fall into the trap of looking at conventional wedding places such as stately homes and hotels but why not think outside the box! Does your favourite bar have a stunning view of the city? Does that quirky restaurant down the road always make you smile? What about your local art gallery or museum? Pop in and see if they'll host your reception. Often unconventional venues work out more cost effective as well as providing a real wow factor. We think the Science Museum and Sky Bar both provide great wedding settings.
3. The attire
So it's all about the dress! (and grooms suit of course!). Don't be afraid to be different, you don't have to do the traditional white dress and black suit when having a contemporary wedding. Express yourself through your clothes! We love these from Gibson Bespoke, Phoebe Blockley Bridal and Tailor Made To Fit.
4. The styling
This is where you can really let your imagination run wild! Throw convention out the window and just do as you please. The fantastic Mad Philomena is the queen of styling, here is some of her wonderful work to get those creative juices flowing!
