CLUCK: Sponsors of BRIDES, Saviours of Hen Parties
If you haven't heard of CLUCK, you're about to. Both because we've sat down to interview them and that's the rest of the blog post, but also because we think they're going to be absolutely huge on the hen scene. CLUCK is a trio of women who are completely revolutionising the way people do hen parties, making cool, tatfree hen parties easily accessible and penis-plagued hen dos a thing of the past. They've got an uber impressive roster of workshops and activities, from embroidered botanicals craft parties to dirty dancing themed workshops and mixology masterclasses, making it entirely possible to curate a hen party of your dreams. They're also hellbent on making it a seamless process, meaning there's no one person that has to be in charge of all the cash, and that everyone can keep up-to-date with the plan, to inform that all-important "What are you packing?" text.
Rather excitingly, this year they're sponsoring BRIDES The Show! Hosted by BRIDES magazine, this year's show is taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington from the 29th September to the 1st October, and the Imagination Room will be a world of wonder and henspiration thanks to them, with real life workshops you can actually book onto! We caught up with Emily, Chloe and Sam to ask what the Cluck it was all about.
What is CLUCK? Elevator pitch us, baby.
We are an alternative hen party planner for cool women with taste. We can help with all aspects of your hen party, from workshops & activities to private dining & accommodation. With fab features like our individual payment system, we take the stress out of hen party planning.
Why did you set Cluck up?
The three us were all planning hen parties at the same time, and realised there were no existing platforms that offered the sort of hen parties that we would want to attend – it was all really tacky. So we set out on a mission to find the best hen party activities, classes and workshops….and Cluck was born!
What's the best thing about CLUCK?
We LOVE waking up on a Monday morning & hearing the great feedback from all our fab Cluck hen parties over the weekend – it’s what makes our job worthwhile!! We also love working with our fantastic partners to supply unique and wonderful hens – we have met so many talented people along the way, and made many a friend.
If you each had to hen party right now, what would the itinerary be?
We would start the weekend with a pyjama party in a luxurious London art hotel suite with skyline views. Things would kick off with a wine tasting in the beautiful dining area, followed by a pamper session whilst watching movies on the huge cinema style TV in the lounge.
The next morning we would wake feeling refreshed (if not slightly fuzzy from the wine & private bar) – and start the day with one of our fab cycle tours around East London. We would then while away the afternoon with some wine & nibbles, whilst designing and making our own bespoke solid silver rings. Such a cool & unique activity – and your finished ring is a great keepsake of the weekend. Evening celebrations would be kicked off with one of our private Supper Clubs – with a menu designed especially for the Bride-to-Be. And then…WE PARTY.
Sunday morning we would delay the return to reality with a massage before reluctantly leaving our hotel suite. And if we really didn’t want the party to end, there’s always bottomless brunch…
You're sponsoring BRIDES The Show - eeeeew! Tell us more about what you're doing there...
We’re kitting the Imagination Room with loads of the best alternative workshops throughout the weekend to give you some henspiration (and some giggles with your girlies!). We’re bringing flower crown making, hula hooping, fascinator crafting, papercutting, terrarium centrepiece making and pompom headband making to the show – and the best news is you can book RIGHT NOW! All of these workshops can give you amazing takeaways for some fab DIY elements for your wedding, whether it’s a start on the décor with some gorgeous greenery or a leg-up on the stress level management with some high-spirited hooping.
How did you feel to be sponsoring the show?
We could not more proud to be working with Brides, and to be involved in the show!! This visited the show in 2016 in the hope that one day we could be involved….little did we know that a year later we would be sponsoring the Imagination Room and showcasing our fab workshops! Definitely a “pinch me” moment when we first saw our logo on the Brides The Show website!
Cluck have also let us in on a cheeky secret - they've got a discount code for BRIDES and they want you guys to use it! It's CLUCK20, for all you bargain fans out there..
