My Visit To Lace & Co Bridal Boutique
Our Blogging Bride attended the recent opening of Lace & Co Bridal Boutique in Horbury. After visiting there herself as a bride-to-be, she gives us her experience and expert view on this beautiful little piece of wedding heaven in the heart of Yorkshire.
Lace & Co boutique is nestled in the town centre of Horbury, the epitome of vintage class and style when it comes to wedding gowns.
Since my original visit, Lace & Co has now re-located to a much bigger premises, but the personal vintage feel remains and even more exciting, Lace & Co now also stock Claire Pettibone and Rembo Styling wedding gowns. These are the perfect gowns for any simple and elegant “bride to be” out there, they are such beautiful delicate dresses ideal for the Boho bride.
Charlotte Balbier is a classic wedding gown designer, with amazing silhouettes and detail, I don’t think there would be any bride that wouldn’t feel like a princess and love a Charlotte Balbier dress.
The House of Mooshki range is just stunning and unique, they are very pretty and girly…very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn and the Hollywood icons of the 50’s. The versatility of the lengths on these dresses is great, especially the tea length dresses giving any bride that 50’s vintage feel with lots of tulle and pouff on their wedding day, also allowing you to show off your beautiful wedding shoes.
Lace & Co, also has a lovely range of accessories and shoes. The Charlotte Mills shoes are absolutely gorgeous and with so many styles and colour options, these are a perfect fit for any bride…whether you are a festival theme bride or a Cinderella bride.
The shoes are very comfortable, a great heel height so you can dance the night away with your new husband and all your guests, I’ve even bought myself a pair of the “Blondie” shoes for my wedding abroad in May.
The unique and delicate accessories by HT Headwear and Flo & Percy that Lace & Co stock are so pretty, and there is so much choice, you are sure to find something that matches your perfect wedding gown. Some of the pieces are also very dainty so if you are a minimalist bride and would like some “frosting” but nothing over the top, these accessories would be ideal.
Likewise there are some grander pieces, such as hair vine and beaded clips that are just so beautiful you’ll want to wear them every day!
The whole experience at Lace & Co, is very personal, fun and special, which is exactly what every bride should have when picking her wedding dress. So Yorkshire brides, visit soon!
