Sarah and Mike at Barmbyfield Barns (aka the most fun wedding we've ever seen)
When Becki from All You Need is Love Photography submitted this real wedding to showcase, I fell in love immediately. It is impossible, I think, to look through these photos and not fall in love with the couple and want to have been part of their big day. It's so chilled and completely genuine, clearly just a gathering of really happy people who want fuss-free fun in support of the newly married couple. This can also be seen in the fact that so many of the elements of the wedding were DIY: Sarah made her own bouquet with flowers from Country Baskets, a colleague made her cake, and one of her bridesmaids made the cake topper. The finer details are absolutely beautiful but overall the day looks incredibly relaxed!
...So relaxed, in fact, that there nearly were no photos to show! Sarah and Mike had initially decided that they didn't want a photographer at their wedding as having cameras thrust in their face would ruin what was supposed to be their perfect day. However, a friend convinced them that natural, candid photographers who were crucially unobtrusive did exist, and thus they got in touch with Becki - and made some absolute magic.
The stunning Barmbyfield Barns hosted them, adorned with beautiful fairy lights and hanging paper lanterns. Could we ever get tired of those exposed brick walls? We think not. It was the scene of some super emotional speeches and many a dance off, but most importantly also a tyre swing. Now that is a genius addition to a wedding day.
